About Our Attorney
I was born and raised in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Hazleton High School in 1971. I attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1975, before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and graduating with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1978.
I am currently a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. I am admitted to practice in all state courts in Pennsylvania, and I practice in the Middle District Federal Court in Central Pennsylvania.
Representing Working People
Just as important as my educational background, I have a strong interest and desire to represent working people who are experiencing problems with the legal system. As a child, I had the privilege to live with a father who was also an attorney. My father practiced law in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, for 40 years. At a young age, I was exposed to the realities of the legal world, which was very helpful to me throughout the years. However, I was also instilled with a strong sense of helping the less fortunate.
Before my father became an attorney, he was a coal miner in northeast Pennsylvania. He did heavy labor and mined coal to work his way through college and law school. He passed on to me a sense of value for those people who work hard. I dedicate my practice to those who have to work to make a living.
